Village Voice: Merry Christmas and happy holidays from the Village of Ada!
The elected officials, staff and volunteers of the Village of Ada would like to take this opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas on Sunday and a Happy Holiday Season!
Employees of the Village have been given Monday, Dec. 26 and Monday, Jan. 2 to celebrate the holidays. Village offices and the police department lobby will be closed to the public on those two days. Water payments may be made via Visa/MasterCard/Discover on the village’s website www.adaoh.org.
Should you have an emergency while the police department lobby is closed, please call 419-634-0010 and choose option 1 to be directed to the Hardin County Sherriff dispatch service.
For the weeks of Dec. 19-30, non-emergency calls to the police department may be routed through the water office between 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Republic Services pick up for both refuse and recycling will be delayed one day due to the Christmas holiday. Pick up will be on Wednesday, Dec. 28.
Please remember to bag any additional refuse and/or recycling you may have as a result of the holidays, and place beside your tote if the tote is full. For your security, please remember to break down cardboard boxes so the contents the boxes once held are not visible.
A box with a picture of a television, computer, etc. sitting along the curb in front of your house tells would be thieves the new treasures now in your home.
Again, we wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday Season!
