Commodores run away late from Bulldog boys
CRIDERSVILLE - Host Perry pulled away late from the Ada boys basketball team to post a 78-46 victory Tuesday night in a non-league makeup battle.
After suffering their fourth road defeat in eight days, the Bulldog cagers dropped to 2-7. Meanwhile, Perry improved to 7-3 with the win.
Seniors Owen Conley and Jordan Bailey contributed 15 points apiece for Ada.
The Bulldogs are now 1-4 on the road this season, with their lone road win coming at county foe Ridgemont in the opener.
Ada (0-2 NWC) returns to league play Friday, Jan. 13 against league-leading Spencerville (8-1, 2-0 NWC). The Bulldogs, who are 1-3 at home, then entertain local arch-rival USV (7-3) Saturday night.
