ONU commemorated the speech of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a garden area on the south side of Taft Memorial. It was unusual for the university not to acknowledge the anniversary with an event, but this year Martin Luther King Day occurred during winter break. The school recognized King's Ada address and national holiday on social media.
