Eunice M. Rayl 1917-2017
Eunice M. Rayl, age 99, died on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at 1:30am at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton.
She was born on May 6, 1917, in Rural Harrod to Ross and Ruah (Lawrence) McKinney who preceded her in death.
On April 12, 1941, Eunice married H. Dick Rayl and he died on November 24, 1994.
Eunice was a homemaker and beautician.
She was a graduate of Frederick's Cosmetology School in Lima.
She is survived by two daughters: Jean Stavenger and Joyce (Edward) Barga both of Ada; four grandchildren: Jason (Stephanie) Stavenger, Julie Stavenger, Jeff Barga, and Jenny Barga; and two great-grandchildren: Hunter Stavenger and Leah Harpest.
She was preceded in death by two grandsons: Chris Barga and Joey Stavenger; son-in-law: Michael Stavenger; brother: Virgil McKinney; and sister: Lena Bowman.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00am on Tuesday, February 28, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Chaplain Bill Herr officiating.
Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00pm on Monday, February 27, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton and/or the charity of the donor's choice.
