Lady Bulldogs downed at LCC

LIMA - The visiting Ada girls basketball team was defeated by Madison Stolly and Lima Central Catholic 75-52 Thursday evening.
Following the non-league defeat, the Lady Bulldog record dropped to 7-11 overall. Meanwhile, the Lady Thunderbirds improved to 9-11 with the victory.
The T-Birds raced to a 19-3 lead after one period of play and held a commanding 43-16 halftime edge. Ada outscored LCC 36-32 after intermission.
Senior guard Stolly topped all players with 28 points and 10 rebounds. Rosie Williams added 20 for LCC.
Senior guard Haley Wyss led Ada with 17 points, while junior wing Maddie Gossard added 14 markers.
The Bulldogs (4-4 home) host Fostoria (5-12) Tuesday, February 7 in a non-league matchup. A two-quarter JV game will tip off at 6 p.m.
The drawing for the Allen East/Bath girls Div. IV super-sectional will be held this Sunday, Feb. 5.
