What a great incentive to read!
Ada fourth graders in a reading incentive program were honored guests at a Saturday ONU men's basketball game.

The reading incentive program takes place during the second quarter of school.
Fourth grade teacher Deone Rieman, reading teacher, describes it this way:
Students have an opportunity to go see a men's ONU basketball game free and receive a free t-shirt if they earned the incentive. Students also had an opportunity to have the basketball team sign their shirts after the game.
We had 51 students reach their reading goal and earn the reward. Students had to read books within their reading level and take quizzes to earn points in the Accelerated Reader program.
We also had Coach Benz and several of his players come and meet the students at the beginning of the quarter to kick off the reading program. This allowed the students to meet and greet the players first and inspire them to read.
