Women's indoor track and field set to compete this weekend in OAC championships.
The No. 6-ranked Ohio Northern women's indoor track and field team is set to compete at the 2017 OAC championships hosted by Baldwin Wallace. The meet will feature all 10 teams from across the Ohio Athletic Conference.
The Polar Bears have posted two top-3 finishes at the OAC championships in the last two seasons, including a second place finish in 2016.
The top eight competitors in each event will be scored. Field events will begin on Friday afternoon at 1:30 pm, as men's and women's pole vault, shot put, long jump, 3,000-meter run and distance medley relay's will all be final after Friday.
The remaining events on Friday will be preliminaries for day two of the meet. Saturday's schedule features the remaining field events beginning at 10 am and the remaining running events at 2 pm.
Head Coach Jason Maus: Maus is in his 8th season at ONU with a 321-107-1 indoor record, a winning percentage of .750
