3 named Academic All-OAC in Women's Basketball
Senior Angela Tesny (Medina) and juniors Courtney Cramer (Arcadia) and Shannon Jack (Akron/St. Vincent St. Mary) each were named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference for the 2016-17 basketball season.
Tesny, a 2-time letterwinner and Mechanical Engineering major, earned the honor for the third time in her career.
Cramer, a Marketing major, earned the honor for the second consecutive season.
Jack, a Public Relations major, was named Academic All-OAC in her first season as a Polar Bear.
The Polar Bears posted a historic season as they advanced to the Elite 8 for the first time in school history and recorded an undefeated regular season for the first time in school history on their way to a 30-1 record under 16th-year head coach Michele Durand
