Edna Mae Judy 1927 -2017
Edna Mae Judy, 89, died March 28, 2017, at Lima Memorial Health System. Edna was born Oct. 10, 1927, in Breathitt County, Kentucky, to the late James and Mary (Higgins) Clemons. On Dec.10, 1947, she married Cecil Judy who preceded her in death on Nov. 15, 1989.
Edna was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
Survivors include six children, Dellia (John) Villearreal of Ottawa, Mary (DeWayne) Salsbury of Alger, Clinton Judy of Mt. Cory, Hebert (Wanda) Judy of Alger, Connie (Richard) Baker of Bluffton, Lelia Dyer of Ada; 22 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a sister, Opal Stacy of Stanton, Kentucky.
Edna was preceded in death by two daughters, Jennifer Mullins, Opal Lucille Judy; a son, Douglas Judy; five brothers, Earl, Arthur, Arlen, John and Warnie Clemons; and two sisters, Rosella Francis and Caromel Homan.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 1, at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Pastor Eleanor Estes officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton. Visitation will be Friday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
