Blanchard Valley Hospital's Vascular Lab Receives Reaccreditation
Blanchard Valley Hospital's (BVH) Vascular Laboratory has been reaccredited by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC). The vascular lab uses non- invasive ultrasound testing to help diagnose a variety of vascular conditions.
This accreditation recognizes labs that provide a high level of patient care and quality testing when diagnosing vascular disease. To receive accreditation, BVH underwent detailed evaluations of facility operations and a comprehensive application process. The accreditation is valid for three years.
“Blanchard Valley Health System is proud to have earned this reaccreditation and believe it is proof of our commitment to quality, patient-centered care,” stated Chris Keller, vice president of clinical services.
Patients can rely on IAC accreditation as a “seal of approval” that the facility has been carefully critiqued by medical experts. The IAC programs for accreditation are dedicated to ensuring quality patient care and promoting health care.
