Bradley L Campbell 1931 - 2017
Bradley L. Campbell, age 85, died on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 9:00 p.m. at Hardin Hills Health Center, Kenton.
He was born on June 23, 1931 in Auglaize County, Ohio to Ronald M. and Carol L. (Barnes) Campbell who preceded him in death. On August 2, 1952 Bradley married Ruby E. Preston and she preceded him in death on February 16, 2015.
Bradley was a lifetime farmer. He was a school bus driver for the Upper Scioto Valley Schools for 25 years. He served as a Hardin County Commissioner for 4 years and as a trustee for Marion Township for 20 years. Bradley was a member of the Alger First United Methodist Church. He was a charter member of the Upper Scioto Valley Lions Club.
He is survived by two sons: Barry (Joyce) Campbell and Doug Campbell both of Alger; a son-in-law, Robert (Beverly) Spencer of Alger; seven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren; and a brother, Gilbert Campbell of Lima.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vickie Spencer; and a brother, Myron Campbell.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 28 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger with Rev. Calvin Waugh officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 27 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger and until time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Upper Scioto Valley Lions Club c/o Paul Ralston at 7087 County Road 110, Alger, Ohio 45812.
