Now delivers to all patients in Hardin County and anyone within 40 miles of the pharmacy

ONU HealthWise Community Pharmacy will remain open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The pharmacy has extended its home prescription delivery service to all patients in Hardin County and to anyone living within 40 miles of the pharmacy, including Lima and Findlay.

Curbside pickup at the pharmacy is also available. Individuals interested in this service should call 419-772-3784.

The pharmacy can transfer prescriptions from other pharmacies to allow anyone to take advantage of this service.

Prescriptions may be refilled through the website, the app and telephone: 419-772-3784.

Icon will post Senior Spotlight features in cooperation with Ada schools

The Ada Icon joins Ada High School in recognizing members of the class of 2020 by posting Senior Spotlights. The first Spotlight, featuring Logan Conrad, is posted in this story.

Dan Lee, Ada High School principal said, “We wanted to do everything within our power to preserve as many of the senior class members’ experiences as possible.  

“We thought a Senior Spotlight would be a great opportunity to celebrate these students,” he said.

The Spotlight feature is found on the Ada Bulldogs Facebook and the Icon will use those features on its website.

Several ways for residents to participate in the meeting

The Ada Exempted Village school board will meet at 6 p.m., Thursday, April 23, conducting business online via Zoom.

An American Red Cross blood drive takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday, May 18, at Ada VFW, 2147 State Route 235, Ada, according to Mary Hackworth, Ada blood program leader.

Norma L. Leonard, 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at 12:45 p.m. at her residence in McGuffey, surrounded by her family.

She was born on July 27, 1933, in McGuffey to George Dewey and Myrtle (Nagley) Dorman. On June 21, 1952, Norma married William “Bill” Leonard and he preceded her in death on Nov. 12, 2001.

Norma worked for North Electric in Kenton. She also worked many years at San Antonio Nursing Home as a nurse’s aide. She enjoyed working outdoors in her yard. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.  Her greatest wish was salvation for her family.
