FROM FACEBOOK__The Ada Exempted Village Schools were awarded a $16,101.00 grant through the Ohio School Bus Safety Grant Program and the upgrades are now installed. Ada school buses are now equipped with:

  • Fully illuminated stop signs
  • LED lighting upgrades

This statewide initiative, announced by Governor Mike DeWine and Ohio Department of Education and Workforce Director Stephen D. Dackin in January 2026, awarded $10 million to 371 schools, districts, and county boards across Ohio to help make student transportation even safer.

HARROD – The Ada High School golf team won a four-team match at the Colonial Golfers Club course in Harrod on Monday, August 31.

The Bulldogs shot 168 to win by 11 strokes. Elmwood came in second (179), followed by Arcadia (194) and Pandora-Gilboa (243).

Ada improved to 40-3 this season with the decisive wins.

Sophomore Arden Shook earned match medalist honors after shooting a remarkable 37.

Senior Brody Rister finished just one stroke behind him by carding a 38 as the Bulldogs swept the top two positions.
