Congratulations to Ohio Northern Graduates; Ada Schools are Almost Out!
The Village of Ada publishes informational articles about Village policies and services currently offered. These articles are for informational purposes only. The Village would like to congratulate the 2017 graduates of Ohio Northern University! We have enjoyed having you be a part of our community over the past few years, and welcome your return for years to come!
While Ada Schools have extended the school year to conclude on Tuesday, May 30th, we know we will be seeing more kids out and about, enjoying the community and late spring weather! There will be more children walking, biking and playing outside during daylight hours. Some popular paths kids may use are to the library for the summer reading program, the park for various summer activities and downtown for ice cream.
Eyes and ears will be the most important tools we all have over the next few months. Encourage your children to stay aware of their surroundings by looking before they bike or walk into the street. If your child reports something suspicious to you, do not hesitate to contact the Ada Police Department with details. Also, if you see something suspicious, contact the Ada Police Department.
Use extra caution when driving around Ada. Children may not always look both ways before attempting to cross a street, or they may be so focused on getting their ball back that they dodge out into the streets.
Let’s continue to make this a great, safe summer!
