By Sidney Gossard, Ada FFA Reporter
Five Ada Future Farmers of America Chapter members received state degrees at the recent Ohio FFA convention.
In front of nearly 9,000 members, parents and guests, the following juniors and seniors were recognized for their achievements:
• Justin Light
• Maddie Gossard
• Caitlyn Stover
• Hunter Purdy
• Ashley Breidenbach
According to Ada High FFA records, this is the greatest number of students to ever earn state degrees in one year.
Students are evaluated by advisors, sub-districts, districts, and then the state of Ohio. Areas of the applications include projects, leadership, community service, grades, and FFA activities at local, county, state and national levels.
