Aaron E. R. Evans, 34, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at 7:22 p.m. at Lima Memorial Health Systems, due to an auto accident.
He was born on Nov. 8, 1985, in Kenton, Ohio, to Ronald Lee Evans and Dori (Kiess) Spencer. His father Ronald survives in Ada and his mother Dori survives in Dunkirk. Aaron was engaged to his fiancé, BJ Boutwell of Ada.
Aaron worked as a cook at Acheson’s Resort in Lakeview. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
Also surviving are his two sisters: Jennifer Evans of Ada and Karson Evans of Forest; five nieces and one nephew.

Ada head baseball coach Jason Campbell and head softball coach Rebecca Dicke organized a special memorial game for recently deceased 2020 Bulldog senior pitcher Alex Sweigart at the park Sunday afternoon.
A good crowd turned out on a sunny, warm day for the contest between the Ada high school baseball and softball squads.
Sweigart gamely battled back from back surgery that caused him to miss his junior season, and was ready to resume pitching this spring before the season was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Last week Ada was visited by some of the strangest looking yellow creatures parked along the railroad track by the grain elevator. The collection of a dozen or so machines appeared to be something you'd expect to see in a Star Wars movie. Instead, they were a collection of railcars used in replacing rail ties and rail spikes and installing new ties and spikes. They were on their way to Indiana when then left Ada.
Here's a photo of Liberty Bank of Ada. The photo was taken sometime after 1902. It eventually merged with First National Bank and became Liberty National Bank. Here's a brief account of the two banks.
Liberty National Bank has a long Ada history. A new bank was organized and opened for business in Ada on Oct. 3, 1893. It was first chartered and organized as a state bank under Ohio laws and was known as the Ada Savings Bank.
