Ethan Hull, senior at Ada High School, is the March Mid-Ohio Energy Cooperative student of the month. The Icon had an opportunity to talk with him recently. Here is a portion of that interview.
Icon: What’s your class schedule this semester?
Ethan: I’m taking anatomy, economics, sociology, introduction to film and literature, I have a study hall, graphic design and Photoshop, statistics and I’m a ‘Dogs volunteer.

Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Ada, 22 E. Highland, will have three Ash Wednesday events on Feb. 26.
• Communion service with ashes 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes
• Ash Wednesday ecumenical service with ashes in English Chapel, ONU at noon
• Mass with ashes 5:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes
Ada becomes the agricultural capital of Ohio March 3 and 4 as the Conservation Tillage Conference (CTC) takes place on the ONU campus.
It is the largest agriculture meeting in northwestern Ohio. Historically over 800 people attend each day of this two-day conference.
The meeting and program are developed by The Ohio State University Extension Specialists along with agriculture and natural resources educators in local counties with assistance from local Soil and Water Conservation Districts and United States Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service.
Ada first grader, Mohammad Al-Haj displays the multi-layer chocolate cake he baked for the Ada Public Library chocolate bake-off held Saturday. He said that people especially liked the M&Ms he added to the cake, which was enjoyed by persons attending the bake-off.
