Ada students are in the home stretch of the 2016-17 school year. Here are some early May announcements from the school website and the May events calendar for the school.

Student council:  to the new members of Ada HS Student Council for the 2017-18 school year: Ireland, Kirsten, Miranda, Barrette, Brevin, Isaac, Logan, Katie, Jacob, Kama, Nathan and Nicki. There will be a brief meeting for all Student Council members on Thursday, May 11 in the library at 8:15 a.m.

Attention juniors: Need to turn in mandatory senior shot forms as soon as possible to the high school office. Juniors will receive immunization Tuesday, May 9 in the nurses’ office.

Students in grades 6-8: remember to bring in your food donations this week and deliver to your advisory teacher's classroom. Grades reaching their goal of 200 items will get to participate in Water Wars during the next incentive day.

Varsity Singer auditions: Dance auditions are May 15 and Singing auditions are May 16. See Mr. Henning for additional audition information and sign up for a time.

High School football: High school football players in grades 8-11 need to return football camp form and fee to Coach Christopher no later than May 10.
