Women's soccer excels in classroom
The Ohio Northern women's soccer team continued its trend of success in the classroom during the 2017 Spring semester.
The Polar Bears posted the highest-ever cumulative grade point average in team history during the Spring semester.
The team posted a GPA of 3.58, while 20 student-athletes had above a 3.0 GPA.
A total of 14 student-athletes were recognized on the 2017 spring Dean's List.
"We are very proud of the girls for their year long academic performance," said head coach Mark Batman. "They have been tremendous all year about balance and we are excited to see them continue their successful ways."
Northern will open the 2017 campaign this fall on the road at Albion (Mich.) on Sept. at 5 pm.
