Harvey L Stanley 1941 - 2017
Harvey L. Stanley, age 75 died on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 8:44 a.m. at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus.
He was born on November 26, 1941 in Alger, Ohio to Henry J. and Armelda (Cole) Stanley who preceded him in death. On December 4, 1961 Harvey married Sondra L. Kipker and she survives in Alger.
Harvey retired from Rockwell/Meritor of Kenton. He attended the former Central United Methodist Church of Alger. He was a member of the McGuffey Conservation Club, the Moose Lodge #1533 of Indian Lake and Eagles Post #370 of Lima.
Also surviving is a son, Tracey Stanley of Union; a daughter, Stacey (Tom) Rhoades of Harrod; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren; two sisters: Verna Cook of Ft. Myers, FL and Barbara Schaefer of Lima; and a brother, Ron (Judy) Kipker of Ada.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Stanley; two brothers: Jerry and Ron Stanley; and a sister, Erma Tyson.
It was his wish to be cremated. There will be no services at this time.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
