Darlene K. Flowers, age 53, died on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 10:30 p.m. at her residence in Alger.

          Darlene was born on October 2, 1964 in Lima, Ohio to Richard and Ruth (Spradlin) Hutchinson.  Her father preceded her in death and her mother, Ruth survives in Alger.

          Darlene was a homemaker.  She was a member of the New Birth Living Word Ministries, Inc of Ada.

Sheriff Keith Everhart said that he has seen more meth and crack in the county in the last six months than he’s seen in the last six or seven years.

The opioid crisis was discussed at a public meeting at the law college on Friday.

Another Bulldog enrolls in Ohio Northern

Zach Beaschler has made his decision. He wii attend his hometown college to study business...and play tennis.

The Ada High School Student Council President has racked up a lot of honors in tennis and swimming (he’s 6-0 this season in tennis, as is the team). He has been a state qualifier in tennis the past two years. He’s four times district qualifier in swimming.

NMM 6 is on a classic Ohio plate with Hancock County sticker. The Icon spotted it on Main Street Bluffton on a silver Toyota. Don't worry - it's not expired. We took the photo in February.
