Coty A. Harsh 1995-2017
Coty A. Harsh, age 22, died on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at 3:00 a.m. at his friend’s residence in McGuffey.
He was born on March 11, 1995 in Kenton, Ohio to Michael Young and Tammy Harsh who survive in McGuffey.
Coty worked at 501 Metals and Lumber of Lima. He was a graduate of Upper Scioto Valley High School class of 2014. Coty was a kind hearted and loving son, grandson, brother, cousin and friend. He would do anything for his family and friends who meant the absolute world to him. He was loved by everyone. Coty 'Toad' was the type of person who was a friend to everyone. Everyone enjoyed being surrounded by his contagious smile and his sense of humor that made it impossible to not be smiling around him and having a good time. He was a friend you could talk to about anything and would have advice to give you or a shoulder to cry on. Coty gave a helping hand to anyone who needed it without hesitation. He was an outdoors type of person who had a strong passion for four wheelers and dirt bikes. Coty was full of life and enjoyed the most out of it every day. He will be missed terribly by everyone who was lucky enough to know him during his life.
Also surviving is a brother, Dylan Harsh of McGuffey; two sisters: Chelsey Harsh of McGuffey and Makenna Young of McGuffey; and maternal grandfather, Raymond Donnal of McGuffey.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, at the McGuffey Church of Christ at 203 Columbus Street, McGuffey, Ohio 45859 with Rev. Jacob Huber officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, at the McGuffey Church of Christ.
