Missing child found in cornfield
The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Hardin Northern Schools on Thursday about a child that ran away from the building. The child ran into a large cornfield north of the school.
The child was found 1:45 minutes later in a field north and east of the school property. He was returned to the care and custody of his parents
The Sheriff's Office was assisted by Bluffton Life Flight, Dunkirk Fire Department, Hardin County Dog Warden, and local residents.
