Panthers win NWC golf meet

DELPHOS - Ada competed in a four-team Northwest Conference match Wednesday at the Delphos Country Club.
Paulding took first with 180 strokes, followed in second by Crestview (192). Delphos Jefferson shot 202 and Ada finished fourth with 247 strokes.
Alex Morgan paced the Bulldogs with a score of 58. Teammate Brevin Sizemore shot 60 while Rob Allison carded a 62. Jake Colwell added a total of 67. Austin Amburgey contributed a 69 and Wyatt Badertscher posted a 72.
Cade McGarvey of Paulding was the medalist with a match-low score of 41. Crestview's Caden Hurles finished second with a 44.
With the losses, Ada fell to 1-9 overall and remained winless in league play.
The Bulldog linksters play next on August 23 in a tri-match hosted by Allen East.
