Roberta Moore, 1935 - 2017
Roberta Moore, age 81, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at her residence in Lima.
She was born on September 1, 1935 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to Andrew and Teda (Marshall) Allen who preceded her in death. On November 13, 1954 Roberta married Ezra Moore and he survives in Lima.
Roberta was a homemaker. She attended the McGuffey Freewill Baptist Church.
Also surviving are three daughters: Rose (Donald) Webb of Alger, Linda (Robert) O’Brien of Elida and Suzanne (Harold) James of Lima; six grandchildren: Craig (Yukiko) Hoffman of Japan, Angie Miller of Lima, Aimee (Jay) Cotten of Norwalk, Dallas (Tara) Hoffman of Elida, Dr. Christina (Tim) Crum of Findlay and Stephanie (Isaac) Myers of Ada; nine great grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Joey, Claire, Alex, Brandon, Isabella, Zachary, Penelope and Yume; and two sisters: Brenda (Tom) Keller of Lima and Catherine Allen of Columbus.
Roberta was preceded in death by two brothers: Warnie Allen and Tim Allen; and two sisters, Maredia Wright and Barbara Allen.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 19, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Rev. Donald Webb officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 18, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada and until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the McGuffey Freewill Baptist Church.
