Women's Lacrosse opens at home Sept. 24
The Ohio Northern women's lacrosse team is set to open the 2018 campaign as it hosts Trine (Ind.) on Sept. 24 under 3rd-year head coach Beth Hemminger.
Northern posted a 3-13 record in its second season as a varsity program at Ohio Northern.
After opening with the Thunder at Dial-Roberson Stadium, Northern will travel to regional-foe Wooster on Mar. 1 for a 7 pm contest.
Spring Break will feature contests in Sewanee, Tenn. as Northern takes on Carthage (Wis.) on Mar. 5 and Sewanee (Tenn.) on Mar. 7.
After returning home from spring break, Northern will host Cleary (Mich.) on Mar. 10and Sienna Heights (Mich.) on Mar. 15.
The Polar Bears wrap up the non-conference schedule with a 3-game road trip at Franciscan on Mar. 17, Albion (Mich.) on Mar. 21, and Hiram on Mar. 28.
The Ohio Athletic Conference portion on the schedule begins on Mar. 30 as Northern travels to Mount Union to take on the Purple Raiders at 7 pm.
Other conference road matchups feature trips to Muskingum on Apr. 7, John Carroll on Apr. 21 and Otterbein on Apr. 25.
ONU will host Wilmington on Apr. 4, Heidelberg on Apr. 11, Baldwin Wallace on Apr. 14 and Capital on SENIOR DAY on Apr. 28.
