Panther linksters win NWC meet

BLUFFTON - Paulding won a four-team golf match of Northwest Conference foes Monday at the Bluffton Golf Course.
The Panthers finished first wth 183 strokes, followed by Crestview (188), Bluffton (194) and Ada (246).
Ada was led by freshman Brevin Sizemore, who shot a nine-hole score of 58. Junior Austin Amburgey carded a 61. Ethan Hull posted a 63 and Rob Allison registered a total of 64.
Wyatt Badertscher added a 71.
Pirate Aaron Belcher was match medalist with a score of 38. Cade McGarvee of Paulding was second with a round of 43.
Ada (1-23) plays at Crestview with Lincolnview on September 11.
Bulldog boys blank Lancers

MIDDLE POINT - The Ada boys soccer team shut out host Lincolnview in a Northwest Conference match Mnday evening, 6-0.
With their third consecutive win, the Bulldogs upped their record to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in NWC play.
Chris Reyes scored three goals and passed out an assit to pace the Bulldog offense. Jon Allen contributed a pair of goals.
Logan Williams added the other Ada goal. Noah Pinkney dished out one assist. Ace Gamble only had to make one save in goal for the Bulldogs as they out-shot the Lancers, 14-1.
Ada (2-1 road) visits Indian Lake Monday, Sept. 11 at 7:15 p.m.
