As the Ada school year winds down lots of activities are on the calendar. Here's the list of calendar items from today's Ada school website.

ONU senior Josh Colbert, junior Catie Huber and the men's 4x100-meter relay team qualified for the NCAA III Championships at Ohio Wesleyan, which will be held May 22-24.

The top 22 women, top 20 men and top 16 relay marks qualify for the championships.

Colbert will compete in the long jump on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and will also team with senior Francisque Pierre-Jerome, sophomore Jojuan Fisher and sophomore Christian Rupe in the 4x100-meter relay on Thursday at 5:45 p.m.

Huber will take part in the 1,500-meter run on Thursday at 6 p.m.

The Alger Memorial Festival Committee is sponsoring a country-style breakfast on Saturday, June 7 from 7 to 11 a.m, serving biscuits, sausage gravy, hash-browns, scrambled eggs, fried apples, sausage patties and beverage.

The Ada Barnyard Farmers 4-H Club met on Sunday, May 18 at 3 p.m. The meeting was called to order by President Alexis Amburgey. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Kaitlin Long, and the 4-H Pledge was led by Mackenzie Long. Secretary Shelby Hazelton called roll, and * members were present. There was an introduction of visitors.

Secretary Shelby Hazelton read the minutes of the previous meeting, and they were approved as read. Treasurer Brice Ferguson read the treasurer’s report. The advisors gave a report.
