Bulldog spikers fall at LCC

LIMA - The visiting Ada volleyball team lost in four tough sets at Lima
Central Catholic Thursday night in a non-league battle.
The Bulldogs fell to 6-5 overall and 1-1 on the road with the 25-23,
25-19, 21-25, 25-21 defeat.
Senior ace Melina Woods led Ada with 32 kills, 11 digs, three blocks and
two aces.
Senior setter Maddie Gossard doled out 27 assists, made seven digs and
served four aces.
Senior libero Olivia Alexander came up with 17 digs while classmate
defensive specialist Kaiti Newland added 13 digs.
Sophomore Sidney Gossard passed out eight assists, made seven digs and
dealt three aces.
Ada (1-1 away) plays three matches in the tough eight-team Minster
Invitational Saturday. The Bulldogs then visit county rival Kenton Monday,
Sept. 25.
