Sautter returns to coach Bulldog boys basketball

Former Ada High School boys basketball head coach Chris Sautter is returning to helm the Bulldog program following a one-year hiatus from coaching and eight years after leaving the school where he started his varsity career.

ONU students craft a shed for playground fun and games

Ada Elementary School gave a big shoutout to ONU Engineering Education for "bringing our playground dreams to life!" Professor Todd France and his students crafted a custom playground shed, with input from Ada teachers and recess monitors. Hensel Ready Mix generously donated all the concrete. Reservoir Rd closure on April 30

The Allen County Engineer's office has announced that on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, Reservoir Road between Thayer and Cool Roads, will be closed from 7:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. for drainage maintenance.

Emergency vehicles and school transportation will have access during closure.

Debra R. Harp was a dietary manager

Debra R. Harp, age 67, of McGuffey, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. at Kenton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. 

S. Johnson outbuilding destroyed by fire, sparks from campfire

Embers in a backyard campfire were revitalized by windy conditions on Sunday, April 28, leading to the destruction of an outbuilding near the corner of S. Johnson St. and E. Lincoln Ave.

ONU golfer Honigford breaks own school record

GRANVILLE __ Senior Grace Honigford (West Chester/Lakota East) broke her own school record by two shots, firing a 5-under par 68 to lead the Ohio Northern women's golf team to a victory at the Denison Spring Shootout in the regular season finale on Sunday.
