Ada's James 2nd at county meet

KENTON — Ada sophomore Abbie James took second to pace the Lady Bulldog cross country team at the Hardin County Invitational meet Monday in Kenton.
James finished the 3.1-mile course at the Hardin County Fairgrounds in a time of 21:31.15, behind only meet winner Julie Collier of Riverdale.
The Lady Falcons won the girls meet with 42 points, followed closely by Kenton (44), Hardin Northern (58) and Ada (72).
Kenton won the boys team title over Hardin Northern, 44-53. The Ada boys took third with 56 points, followed by USV (65).
USV's Brady Hipsher won the boys race in 18:49.44. Sophomore Reece Evans posted the top Ada boys showing with a fourth-place finish in 19:38.03.
Bulldog Michael Crouse came in right behind Evans in fifth place with a time of 19:45.41.
