Hissong, East top Lady Bulldog all-league soccer honorees

DELPHOS - Several Ada girls soccer players were named All-Northwest
Conference and All-NCOSA for 2017 in voting conducted by the league
coaches recently.
Bulldog freshman defender Brenna Hissong and sophomore midfielder Bella
East each made first team All-NWC.
Sophomore forward Katie Butterfield and senior keeper Anney Archer were
voted second team All-NWC. Butterfield made honorable mention NWC in 2016.
Junior midfielder Hailey Callahan and sophomore forward Ella Poling were
voted honorable mention All-NWC.
The Lady Bulldogs ended up 5-12 overall and 4-3 in the NWC. Bluffton and
Allen East tied for the league title at 6-0-1.
Sophomore Kayla White of conference co-champion Bluffton was voted 2017
Northwest Conference Player of The Year at the legaue meeting in Delphos.
Jared Byers of Bluffton was selected NWC Coach of the Year in the balloting.
Hissong and East were also named second team All-North Central Ohio Soccer
Association.
Ada goalkeeper Archer was named honorable mention All-NCOSA in her first
season with the soccer program. Butterfield was voted honorable mention
All-NCOSA as well.
