United Way Letter to the Editor
October 18, 2017
Dear Editor:
The 2018 United Way of Hardin County 2018 Campaign is now underway, and we are working hard to reach our goal of $220,000.
Chris and I are honored to serve as Honorary Co-Chairs of the Campaign this year because we believe in the 20 nonprofit, results-oriented programs that United Way supports, programs that are vital to serving individual and family needs in a variety of areas, including health care, children, youth, seniors, and people in crisis. Like many in our community, we want to insure that those who benefit from these essential programs can continue to do so.
Impressively, 99% of United Way’s funding stays in Hardin County. We are also impressed by how many members of our community donate time as well as give financial resources to these effective programs. Donations can be designated to any specific group and should be mailed to United Way of Hardin County, 225 S. Detroit St., Kenton, Ohio, 43326 or through the website: www.unitedwayhardincounty.org
These agencies and programs depend on United Way funding for a portion of their annual budget; for some programs, it is their total budget. Your continued support will help provide for an enhanced quality of life for many local residents by helping our local agencies to continue to function. Consequently, your participation in United Way is the essential building block for the continued growth of Hardin County residents of all ages.
On behalf of the programs supported by United Way of Hardin County, Chris and I want to thank you in advance for your continued support!
Sincerely,
Dan and Chris DiBiasio
Honorary Co-Chairs
