The focus is mental health awareness
A new student-led orgainzation is forming at Ada High School called Ada Gatekeepers.
According to Ada Bulldogs Facebook, the group, open to freshmen through seniors, will focus on increasing mental health awareness, reduce the stigma of talking about life problems, and suicide prevention.
Gatekeepers intend to make a positive impact at school, with peers and the Ada community, please see Mrs. Vermillion to sign up by December 5th. The first meeting is Monday, Dec, 11. Students interested in joining should see Marlene Vermillion.
Attention high school students - Completed permission clips for the senior citizens luncheon are due Tuesday, Dec. 5, by 3:30 pm in the high school office.
The following groups will be excluded from participating due to assisting with the luncheon:
• Varsity boys' and girls’ basketball,
• Varsity cheerleaders
• Varsity Singers
Pick up permission slips in the high school office.
Language Club - will meet before school on Thursday, Nov. 30 from 8 - 8:30 a.m. and enjoy typical breakfasts of French and Spanish-speaking countries.
