Marilyn J. Shaw-Mullett, 1942 - 2017
Marilyn J. Shaw-Mullett, age 75, died on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 6:17 a.m. at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born on September 28, 1942 in Lima, Ohio to the late Howard and Lilian (Mowery) Sprague. On October 7, 2009 Marilyn married David L. Mullett and he survives in Ada.
Marilyn retired from Hardin Hills Nursing Home of Kenton, where she worked as a nurse’s aide. She previously worked for Essex Wire of Kenton. She attended the Victory Chapel of Praise, Roundhead.
Marilyn is also survived by a son, Charles Baker of South Dakota; a daughter, Janice Howard of Alger; a step-son, David (Dorothy) Mullett of Kenton; three step-daughters: Kathy (Eldon) Messenger of Forest, Christina (William) Fox of Galloway and Cindy Grogan of Kenton; two grandchildren, seven step grandchildren; two great grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren; two brothers: Franklin (Irene) Sprague of Lima and Robert Sprague of Indiana; and a sister, Karen Miller of Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her brother, David Sprague.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 13, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Pastor David Schneer and Pastor Wayne Vaughn officiating. Burial will be in Huntersville Cemetery, Ada.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 13, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
