Ada chamber and CIC board member elections on Wednesday
Two Ada community organizations – Ada Area Chamber of Commerce and Ada Community Improvement Corp (CIC) – will hold elections for board members this week.
Ada Area Chamber of Commerce will meet at 8 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 20, in the Dean’s Heritage Room of McIntosh Center. David Dellifield, chamber president, will preside at the final meeting of his two-year term as chamber leader.
A slate of board members for next year will be provided at the meeting. Also on the agenda is the discussion of hiring its first-ever part-time director.
Ada CIC moved from monthly meetings to quarterly meetings in mid-year. This is the first CIC meeting since this past summer.
The CIC will meet at noon, Wednesday, Dec. 20, in the Dean’s Heritage Room of McIntosh Center.
Trustees whose terms expire on Dec. 31 are Deb Curlis, Terry Keiser, Bryan Marshall, Dave Retterer and Fred Steiner. Members whose terms continue are Beth Fenton, Jamie Hall, Brandt Miller, Angela Polachek, Norm Rex and Don Traxler.
Six persons are on the ballot on Dec. 20 are Curlis, Keiser, Marshall, Retterer, Steiner and Eileen Peterman. Persons elected will serve until Dec. 31, 2019.
