Clovis Moore, 1935 - 2017
Clovis Moore, age 82, died Friday, December 01, 2017 at 2:25 a.m. at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Kenton.
He was born on January 13, 1935 in Floyd County, Kentucky to Peter and Emaline (Hicks) Moore. On September 14, 1957 he married Shirley L. Wibright and she died on December 12, 2009.
Clovis retired from Rudolph Foods of Lima. He loved gardening, hunting and fishing.
Clovis is survived by a daughter, Brenda (Patrick) Klee of Marion; and two sons: Rodney Moore and David Moore both of Kenton; three grandchildren: Mark (Jennifer) Klee, Jolene Moore and Dustin Moore; two brothers: Columbus Moore of Harrod and Denver Moore of Harrod; and a sister: Lucy Shepherd of Lima.
He was preceded in death by two sons: Jeffrey Moore and Steven Moore; a granddaughter, Jessica Klee; five brothers: Robert, Andy, Emery, Glen and Jerry Moore; and four sisters: Josie Day, Fannie Shepherd, Pearlie Nichols and Ocie Allen.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 4, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Chaplain Herb Wilker officiating. Burial will be in McDonald-Fairview Cemetery, Kenton.
Friends may call from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada and until time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
