Four from ONU women's soccer team All-Ohio

Four members of the ONU women's soccer team have been named Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association First Team All-Ohio.

Senior Hannah Reich (Howell, Mich.), and sophomores Meagan Grierson (Miamisburg), Haley Moses (Mason) and Rose Nienaber (Cincinnat/Oak Hills) all earned the honor for the Polar Bears.

Ohio Northern landed four members on the First Team for the second consecutive season.

Reich earned the OCSA honor for the third time in her career, and was named to the First Team for the first time.

The senior also became the first Ohio Northern women's soccer player in school history to be named a First Team All-American for her efforts this season.

Reich was a key asset to a Polar Bear defense that set a school record with 14 shutouts this season, breaking a 20-year old mark from 1997. Northern also tied the school record for consecutive shutouts with seven straight shutouts during the regular season.

Grierson, the 2-time defending OAC Goalkeeper of the Year and 2-time First Team All-OAC honoree, was named OCSA First Team All-Ohio for the second consecutive season.

The sophomore led a historic effort defensively for ONU in 2017 as she posted a school-record 14 shutouts and broke the sophomore school record for goals against average.

Her 20 career shutouts make her tied for fourth place all-time at ONU in shutouts.

Moses, the 2017 OAC Midfielder of the Year and First Team All-OAC selection, earned her first All-Ohio honor.

The sophomore has appeared in and started all 42 games in her career for ONU. Moses scored four goals and added four assists for Northern this season.

Nienaber, a 2017 First Team All-OAC honoree, was also named All-Ohio for the first time in her career.

The sophomore ranked second on the team with 10 goals this season and ranked second on the team and tied for fifth in the OAC with six assists. She also ranked second on the team and fifth in the OAC with 26 points this season.
