Introducing Ada's new musical combo
By Monty Siekerman
Get this: There is a new music group in town named Mike and the COP-per Tones, composed of cops, of course.
The ensemble performed Wednesday afternoon for Vancrest residents. The cops may be into heavy metal, rock and roll, punk, hip hop, hard rock, rap...we didn't ask.
They stuck to Christmas music Wednesday, their efforts appreciated with applause. Want to schedule them for your next gig? Call the police department.
Members of the Ada police department meet with Vancrest residents each month for Cookies with a Cop. So, this month several members of the department got together to sing and play Christmas songs. Ptl. Penny Keller-Clark organizes the monthly sessions.
