Larry E Hollon, 1952 - 2017
Larry E. Hollon, age 65, died on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 9:19 a.m. at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born on February 17, 1952 in Kenton, Ohio to the late Noah G. and Anna Belle (Hall) Hollon. On April 12, 1975 Larry married Coleen K. Stone and she survives in Alger.
Larry retired from truck driving. He was a member of the Cornerstone Church Lima Campus. Larry loved his family. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were his world.
Also surviving are his two daughters: Bridget (Calvin) Arnett and Shawna (Brock) Freytag both of Alger; five grandchildren: Ryan Howard, Breanna (Zane) Hawkins, Natasha (Nathaniel) Shepherd, Austin (Shelby) Hollon and Nathan Freytag; seven great grandchildren: Maleah, Adrianna, Summer, Axel, Annalee, Aarron and Noah; and a sister, Lisa (Richard) Allen of Alger.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Hollon and a sister, Patricia Hollon.
Funeral services will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger with Pastor Terri Vonderau officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger. The family request casual dress supporting The Ohio State Buckeyes.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger and one hour prior to the sevice on Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Cornerstone Church Lima Campus, 2000 North Cole Street, Lima, Ohio 45801
