Richard L Siegenthaler, 1955 - 2018
Richard L. “Ziggy” Siegenthaler, age 62, died on Tuesday, January 02, 2018 at 12:50 p.m. at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born on May 6, 1955 in Bellefontaine, Ohio to Max and Juanita (Smith) Siegenthaler. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in West Mansfield. On June 30, 1991 Richard married Robin K. Spradlin and she survives in Ada.
Richard worked for Associated Plastics of Ada. He enjoyed camping and playing video games. He loved his grandchildren and spent as much time as he could with them.
Also surviving are four daughters: Wendy (Shannon) Slade of West Liberty, Melissa (Doug Cook) Kaufman of Springfield, Heather (Mike) Blackburn of Ada and Kelly Slone of Ada; a son, Brian Harp of Columbus; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; a brother, Chuck (Beth) Siegenthaler of Urbana; and a sister, Roberta (Robert Hutchins) Baughman of St. Paris.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Strong.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 5, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Pastor Brad Angus officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 4, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada and until time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
