Ada village council voted to substantially increased wage rates for all positions at the pool for this summer. Action took place this week.

The comment was made at council that “the village has made a large investment in the pool facility and we need to be sure that we invest in our pool employees so that we can provide our pool customers with a safe and enjoyable experience at the pool."

Here is the new hourly rate structure:
• Manager $18
• Assistant manager $12.85
• Lifeguards $10.00 with the possibility of qualifying for a $150 end of year spiff (bonus) for performance
• Cashiers $8.15

All positions receive a 50 cent hourly increase when working the midnight swim event.

Deadline to apply for the manager and assistant manager positions is Monday. Applications for lifeguard and cashier positions are due by Monday, April 2.
