Steven Knepper was a plumber for M&R and cabinet builder
Steven E. Knepper, 69, died March 7, 2018 at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay. Steve was born Feb. 4, 1949, in Bluffton to the late Gerald and Marilynn (Cupples) Knepper. On Oct. 9, 1971, he married Doreen Basinger Knepper who survives.
Steve worked as a plumber for M&R Plumbing and Heating, Bluffton, and was also a self-employed cabinet builder. He was a member of the Reformed Mennonite Church in Bluffton.
Survivors also include a son, Eric Knepper of Dayton, Ohio; a daughter, Kari (T.J.) Plageman of Carroll, Ohio; four grandchildren, Timothy Plageman, Emily Plageman, Matthew Plageman, Ethan Plageman; two sisters, Phyllis (Rod) Fellows of Findlay, Nancy (Gary) Crawford of Ada and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, March 12, the Reformed Mennonite Church, Bluffton. James Basinger and Mark Bankert officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bluffton Hospital Nutrition Department.
