If someone can write an extremely popular book about a cat in a hat, maybe someone with imagination can write a book about chicks and goats.

Baby chicks and goats entertained kids at the Ada Public Library on Wednesday morning. Parents probably would not be serving broasted chicken for supper tonight, but goat milk may be ok.

These are young pet goats, which may grow up to be 60 pounds at most. The two-week-old goats were brought to the Ada Public Library by Tiffany and Nate Conn.

Raising goats as pets is a new experience for them. While searching out goat milk to bottle feed the young ‘ens, they were surprised to learn how many people who live near Ada raise goats.
