The Ada Academic Quiz Bowl team, Hardin County champs, lost to the much larger Findlay High School at regional competition on Saturday. Although Ada didn’t qualify for the state finals, the team had a stellar year ending with 42 wins and only 6 losses.

Saturday’s quizzing was a 13 team tournament featuring teams who were already league champions or who had won a tournament in their area. 

The tournament was double elimination with the top two teams moving on to state. The schools are not grouped by size so very large schools competed with very small schools.  Ada was one of the smallest schools competing Saturday.
