This stuff has to go
By Monty Siekerman
Buddy the cat says, “This stuff has to go.”
And, these old electronics will soon be out the door...to Heterick Memorial Library for recycling. Those in the community and on campus may properly dispose of many items by taking them to the library between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, April 16-20.
Nearly all electronic devices are accepted, including computers, laptops, monitors, mice, keyboards, VCRs, DVD players, speakers, CDs, printers, DVDs, computer cables, cell phones, tablets, scanners, battery chargers.
Not accepted—light bulbs, dehumidifiers, refrigerators, large machinery, damaged batteries. A limited number of TVs will be accepted.
The effort is sponsored by ONU Recycles whose members are doing their part to protect the environment by not having these items end up in a landfill.
