Ada boys downed at Lincolnview
By Cort Reynolds
MIDDLE POINT - Host Lincolnview scored seven first-inning runs and went on to post a 15-1 win over Ada Monday evening in a Northwest Conference game.
The Bulldogs fell to 4-12 overall and 0-7 in the NWC with the defeat. The second-place Lancers improved to 14-3 and 5-1 in the league with the win.
Lincolnview only out-hit Ada 6-2, but collected eight walks and took advantage of seven Bulldog errors to plate nine unearned runs.
Senior Aaron Everhart collected both Ada hits. He stole two bases and scored the only Bulldog run in the top of the fourth.
The Lancers added a single run in the second and added five more in the home third to build a 13-0 lead.
