Ada boys tennis finishes season 11-1

KENTON - The Ada boys tennis team concluded its regular season with a decisive 4-1 victory at Hardin County foe Kenton on a warm Tuesday evening.
The win improved the Bulldog record to 11-1 this season, the best in program history. Ada finished a perfect 6-0 on the road this spring.
The Bulldogs lost just a combined two games in their four two-set victories.
Senior Zach Beaschler ran his record to 17-0 with a double-bagel win at first singles.
Junior Cade Mullins improved to 13-2 at second singles with another 12-game sweep at second singles.
Sophomore Isaac Spar also won easily at third singles, dropping just two games in a straight-sets victory.
Freshman Miranda Wills and senior Acel Gamble combined at first doubles to win 6-0, 6-0.

1st singles: Zach Beaschler (A) defeats Andrew Boyer 6-0, 6-0
2nd singles: Cade Mullins (A) defeats Cruz Bryant 6-0, 6-0
3rd singles: Isaac Spar (A) defeats Hayden Robinson 6-1, 6-1
1st doubles: Miranda Wills/Acel Gamble (A) defeats Zach Collins/
Riley Messenger 6-0, 6-0
2nd doubles: Mason Bloom/Alex Stephens defeats Gabe Hassan/Adam Bailey (A) 6-0, 6-1
Ada competes in the sectionals at Defiance May 10 and 12. Beaschler and Mullins advanced to the districts last year, with Beaschler quaifying to state for the second time as well.
