Ada police investigate school threat
Michael Harnishfeger, Ada police chief, provided the Icon with the following details of a written threat made in the Ada schools today:
On Wednesday, May 23, at 4 p.m. the Ada Police Department was called to the Ada Schools regarding a threat written on the wall of a bathroom stall.
An investigation ensued, and an Ada High School student was identified as the writer.
There was no credible threat to the school and the student had no means by which to carry out the written threat.
The Ada Police Department will be recommending charges of inducing panic and making terroristic threats.
The Ada Police Department will be present at the Ada Schools on Thursday and Friday as part of their routine patrols.
