Bulldog boys dumped by LCC

LIMA - Host Lima Central Catholic scored seven runs in consecutive innings, leading to a 20-1 victory over Ada Tuesday evening in a non-conference baseball game.
The Bulldogs fell to 4-13 with the defeat.
LCC out-hit Ada, 15-2.
The game was scoreless until the bottom of the second inning, when the Thunderbirds erupted for seven runs. LCC plated seven more runs in the third inning, and six in the fourth.
Junior Austin Amburgey doubled and freshman Tristin Conley singled to pace the Ada offense. Senior Aaron Everhart stole two bases and scored the lone Bulldog run in the fourth frame on Amburgey's RBI double.
Matthew Heider and Jennings each drove in four runs for the T-Birds. Heider doubled, singled twice and scored three runs. Jennings singled twice and scored three runs.
T-Bird Ross Moore hit a single, double and a triple, and collected three runs batted in.

Ada (3-9 away) visits Fort Jennings Wednesday in another non-league bout. The league finale is set for Thursday, May 3 at Columbus Grove (8-8, 1-5 NWC).
